John Jay Homestead was the home for five generations of the Jay family, including Founding Father John Jay. You’ll find a 2-acre island refuge for more than 230 species of native wildflowers, and wildlife exhibits. A nonprofit nature preserve and environmental education center, Teatown Lake Reservation has 15 miles of hiking trails ranging from novice to moderately difficult.
